What is the Moza AB9 FFB Base
The Moza AB9 FFB Base is an advanced force feedback base for flight and racing simulators. Unlike standard joysticks, the AB9 generates active forces directly in the stick, allowing you to feel aerodynamic load, trim forces and turbulence. All force feedback is generated in the base and works together with a separate flight stick or shifter.
Realistic force feedback with dual servo motors
The AB9 uses two powerful servo motors with a peak torque of up to 12 Nm. Moza also specifies a continuous torque of 9 Nm in one direction. This results in smooth and controlled force feedback, even during long flights or when flying heavy aircraft.

MCLS Control Loading System
Thanks to the Moza Control Loading System, stick resistance is dynamically adjusted to the situation in the simulator. You will feel increased resistance at high speeds, lighter forces while taxiing, and clear feedback during stall or turbulence.
1000 Hz USB and high resolution input
The AB9 FFB Base connects to your PC via a 1000 Hz USB connection. This ensures that inputs and force feedback are processed with minimal latency. The result is increased precision in both civilian and military flight simulators. The high resolution input is also noticeable when used for sim racing applications.
Software: Moza Cockpit
All settings, profiles and firmware updates are managed through the Moza Cockpit software. Here you can adjust force feedback strength, damping and simulator specific profiles. Firmware updates can be performed easily through the software.

The Moza AB9 is designed for mounting on a desk or simulator cockpit. A separate table clamp or mount adapter is available as an optional accessory.

Do not confuse with other Moza models
The AB9 is a force feedback base for flight simulation. It is not a steering wheel base and does not include a stick or grip. The AB6 is a different model with lower torque.

Tip for sim racers
The AB9 can also be used as part of the Moza Active Shifter concept when combined with a separate force feedback shifter knob. This allows you to combine flight simulation technology with sim racing applications.
