The Thrustmaster T.Flight Hotas 5 Microsoft Flight Simulator Special Edition is a complete HOTAS joystick for beginner and recreational pilots who want to experience Microsoft Flight Simulator with greater control, immersion and realism. This officially licensed Microsoft Flight Simulator joystick is compatible with PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 and PC.
The combination of an ergonomic flight stick and a large detachable throttle gives you control over the aircraft, engine power and rudder. With 5 axes, 14 action buttons, a rapid fire trigger and a multidirectional hat switch, all essential flight controls are within easy reach.

The Thrustmaster T.Flight Hotas 5 MSFS Special Edition is officially licensed for Microsoft Flight Simulator. The HOTAS offers a simple Plug & Play experience in Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 and is automatically recognized on PS5, PS4 and PC.
The joystick features the essential PlayStation buttons, allowing you to navigate console menus and access various PlayStation functions. For PC use, the T.Flight Hotas 5 is compatible with Windows 10 and Windows 11.
Complete HOTAS with 5 axes and 15 buttons
HOTAS stands for Hands On Throttle And Stick. This means that the most important aircraft controls remain directly within reach. The joystick and throttle feature:
- 5 control axes, including a twist Z-axis
- 14 action buttons
- 1 rapid fire trigger
- 1 multidirectional hat switch
- Up to 16 bit precision
In total, you have 15 buttons, consisting of 14 action buttons and one rapid fire trigger. The multidirectional hat switch can be used for functions such as camera control and panoramic viewing.
Large detachable 1:1 scale throttle
The large detachable 1:1 scale throttle gives you precise control over the aircraft's engine power. Keep the flight stick and throttle connected for a stable and compact setup on your lap, or separate both components for use on a desk or table.
The weighted base keeps the HOTAS stable during use. This allows you to adapt the setup to your available space and choose a comfortable distance between the joystick and throttle.
Dual rudder system with twist joystick
The Thrustmaster T.Flight Hotas 5 offers two ways to control the aircraft's rudder. You can rotate the flight stick using the twist Z-axis or use the progressive tilting lever on the throttle.
This lets you choose the control method that feels most comfortable. Rudder control is particularly useful when taxiing, taking off, landing and making precise corrections to the direction of the aircraft.
Adjustable resistance and ergonomic design
The resistance of the flight stick can be adjusted to match your personal preference. Choose lighter resistance for quick movements or increase the resistance for slower and more precise control.
The wide hand rest and ergonomic button layout provide comfortable operation during longer flights. The T.Flight Hotas 5 is suitable for light aircraft, passenger aircraft, military aircraft, helicopters, gliders and space flight.

The Thrustmaster T.Flight Hotas 5 is automatically recognized in Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024. According to Thrustmaster, optimized joystick mappings are also available on PlayStation for games including:

Expandable with Thrustmaster TFRP rudder pedals
If you want to build a more realistic flight simulator cockpit, the T.Flight Hotas 5 can be expanded with the separately available Thrustmaster TFRP rudder pedals. These pedals let you operate the rudder with your feet, just like in a real aircraft.
The TFRP pedals feature Thrustmaster's S.M.A.R.T. sliding rail system, which is designed to provide smooth movement and precise rudder control.
