- Wheel plate: thicker steel, a new mounting hole pattern, and stronger bolts and nuts.
- Construction: thicker materials and stronger mounting hardware have been used throughout several areas of the cockpit.
In addition, various smaller improvements have been made to further enhance rigidity, comfort, and durability.
What is the difference between the Competition V3 and the Champion V2.5?
The Competition V3 and Champion V2.5 mainly differ in their design, adjustability, and comfort:
- Frame: the Champion V2.5 features a unique hybrid design with an aluminium base frame. The Competition V3 uses a more traditional tubular steel frame.
- Adjustability: thanks to its aluminium base frame, many components of the Champion V2.5 can be adjusted more precisely and with greater freedom. The Competition V3 uses fixed mounting points and is therefore less modular.
- Bucket seat: both models use the same bucket seat shell, but the Champion V2.5 features more premium and breathable upholstery, along with more comfortable and supportive cushioning.
- Design: the Competition V3 has a traditional sim racing cockpit design. The Champion V2.5 combines an aluminium base frame with a steel construction, creating a unique hybrid design.
In short: if you are looking for maximum adjustability, a modular design, and greater comfort, the Champion V2.5 is the better choice. The Competition V3 is a great option if you prefer a more traditional cockpit design.

The XXL Racing Champion V2.5 has been significantly improved in many areas compared to the original V1 edition. The main improvements include:
- Pedal plate: 2x thicker material for increased rigidity and reduced flex.
- Wheel plate: 2x thicker material and a stronger, flex free mounting system.
- Bucket seat: additional padding in the cushions for improved comfort and support.
- Bucket seat upholstery: more breathable material for increased comfort during longer racing sessions.
- Pedal support: a stronger construction designed to support heavy duty load cell pedals and powerful active pedals such as the MOZA mBooster.
- Mounting options: additional mounting holes in both the wheel plate and pedal plate, providing compatibility with a wider range of brands and models.
- Construction: various components, mounting points, and materials have been further reinforced and improved.
